Do I need permission to land at Hedlow Airfield?
Yes, all visting aircraft are required to gain landing permission from Adam Booker on 0438 300 673. This is mainly for us to help you with parking instructions and sort out any other requirements you may have such as refuelling.
What services does Hedlow Airfield provide?

What are the operating hours of Hedlow Airfield?
Our airfield operates daily from 7 AM to 5 PM. Accommodation Check-in is from 2PM, check out is 10AM.
Hedlow Airfield is for daylight operations ONLY. No runway lighting is available.
Is Hedlow Airfield on aviation maps?
Yes. See Airservices maps. We are located 12NM north east of Rockhampton QLD (YBRK) our airfield identifier is YHEW.

Do you do flying training?
Not directly however Rockhampton Sport Aviation operates from Hedlow Airfield with a long history of training recreational pilots in modern well equipeded aircraft. Talk to Steve for your flying training needs.
